New York hip hop artist Talib Kweli gives capitalism the middle-finger in his latest track titled 'F*ck the Money'. The song pops off his 11 track, free digital album which goes by the same name and aside from the fact that the album is 100% mahala what's even more dope is that it features Mzansi's very own phat cat, Cassper Nyovest.
If you don't know Kweli, he's an internationally acclaimed musician possibly most recognized for his work with fellow Brooklyn-bred big shot, Mos Def, who he formed the successful hip hop group, 'Black Star' with. Kweli is also known for his strong political views and activism, particularly around issues of police brutality in the US.
On his 2014 visit to South Africa, Kweli met up with Nyovest and dropped a verse on the kwaito tribute track "Doc Shebeleza". And this year it seems Nyovest is returning the favour on Kweli's new album… A big collab for Cassper!
The 'F*ck the Money' album features some of the biggest names in the biz: Styles P, Miguel, Ab-Soul and Kendra Ross to name a few and you can download the free digital album right here: http://kweliclub.com/products/talib-kweli-fuck-the-money-digital
